After coronavirus outbreak at SDM Medical college at Dharwad, 12 students of college at Bengaluru have been tested positive. 11 among the positives have immunised with both the vaccine jab. COVID-19 characteristics have been found in 9 students.

The infected are the first year Science degree students of Spoorti first grade college at Marasur in Annekal. 134 students were tested. The infected students have been quarantined.

While, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai will hold a meeting of officials to prevent spreading the pandemic again in the state.
